EUTERPE

**************
Concerned about low audience turnout at CU shows?

Come to the next Euterpe meeting to brainstorm solutions to this problem. Help us:

1. Isolate and defining the factors involved,
2. Strategize how to improve the situation, and
3. Determine how to implement a plan of action.

Please join us at 5:30pm on Tuesday, April 5 at the Illinois Disciples Foundation, Bondurant Room, 610 E. Springfield, Champaign.
All ages are welcome. Be willing to act on your ideas!

Peace,
The Euterpe Founders:
Rachael Dietkus
Debra Domal
Nan Holda
Jenny Southlynn

**************

Hey Everyone,

First, we'd like to thank everybody who came out to Euterpe's inaugural meeting. It was a great turnout of diverse folks with tons of passion, insight and experience, and we were really overwhelmed with the level of enthusiasm for this music network.
The next Eurtepe Music Network discussion forum is this Tuesday, March 1, 5:30pm @ Crane Alley (back in the mezzanine), 115 W. Main St, Urbana. All ages are welcome. This is an important meeting because we're going to discuss and prioritize the issues we'd like to address this year. We're hoping the group will be able to put many of the ideas into action.
At the bottom of this page is a list of topics we've culled from local music supporters over the last year. Look it over and be ready to talk about:
1. Are there other topics you like to add to the list?
2. What's the best way to tackle each issue (ie. through a discussion forum, workshop/rountable, long-term campaign, fundraising, focus group, etc.)?
3. What are the top three issues you'd like to see addressed?
4. What can we realistically accomplish in the next year?
5. Would you be interested in working on a committee for any of issues?

If you have feedback on the topic list but can't make the meeting, send us your ideas via email.

Peace,
The Euterpe Founders:
Rachael Dietkus
Debra Domal
Nan Holda
Jenny Southlynn
Holly Rushakoff
